Terms & Conditions

1. Services Provided

Nits N Nats provides professional head lice screenings, treatments, and related services using natural and professional-grade products. While our treatments are highly effective, no lice treatment can guarantee 100% prevention of re-infestation due to environmental exposure.

2. Appointments & Scheduling

  • All services are by appointment only.

  • Appointments are generally available weekdays from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM and weekends from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

  • Same-day or next-day appointments are often available; however, availability is not guaranteed.

  • We encourage clients to call at any time, and we will do our best to accommodate urgent needs.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Failure to cancel within this time frame or failure to show up may result in a cancellation or no-show fee, at our discretion.

  • Late arrivals may result in shortened services or rescheduling.

4. Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

  • We accept approved forms of payment as communicated at booking.

  • Prices vary based on hair length, severity of infestation, number of individuals treated, and service type.

  • Any additional services requested during the appointment will be added to the total cost.

5. Rechecks & Follow-Up

  • Rechecks are strongly recommended and, in some cases, required.

  • Rechecks must be completed at our salon location, even if the original service was provided at home.

  • Missed or delayed rechecks may impact treatment effectiveness.

6. At-Home Services

  • In-home services are offered on a limited basis and are subject to availability.

  • In-home services include an additional fee plus a travel fee based on location.

  • Salon pricing applies in addition to these fees.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Follow all post-treatment instructions provided by Nits N Nats.

  • Perform recommended home care and cleaning procedures.

  • Understand that re-infestation can occur if household members, close contacts, or environments are not properly addressed.

8. Health & Safety

  • Clients must disclose any known scalp conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or medical concerns prior to treatment.

  • Nits N Nats is not responsible for reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions.

  • Our staff is trained to work gently and patiently with children; however, cooperation during treatment is required for best results.

9. No Guarantee of Future Exposure

While we strive for complete removal during treatment, Nits N Nats cannot guarantee that clients will not be re-exposed to lice after leaving our facility. Re-infestation is often due to external contacts such as school, daycare, camps, or household exposure.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nits N Nats shall not be held liable for:

  • Re-infestation after treatment

  • Failure to follow after-care instructions

  • Environmental exposure outside of our control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.

11. Photography & Documentation

With client consent, photos may be taken for internal documentation purposes only. No images will be used for marketing without written permission.

12. Changes to Terms

Nits N Nats reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
